While I am one of the people who fondly remembers when the “Welcome to Paris” sign showed a population of 6600 (for many years), we all deal with the challenges of managing the growth of the community that we love.
For many, the desire to turn the growth switch to off is a strong passion. At the same time, we know that growth in a pretty Town, 100 km from one of the largest Cities in North America, is inevitable.
Here’s an interesting article, worth sharing, about the history of the growth of Paris from this week’s Paris Independent Newspaper. (Great research Rosemary Rich!)
As always, the key is to try to manage the infrastructure and the needs of the community ahead of the growth.
