I am happy to share that the 150 year old oak tree near the site of the new North Paris Fire Hall will remain in place and has been given tree protection for the duration of the construction process.
(I know that some local residents were concerned about this tree).
In 2025 Council approved a new tree protection and enhancement policy and I would like to thank County staff for how quickly they addressed this situation.
